The rolling hills of rural Steuben County New York is where Painted Horizon Ranch and Equestrian Center and Luke Reinbold Horsemanship reside. Here 360 degree views can be enjoyed without seeing another house. White tailed deer, black bears, bald eagles, foxes, coyotes and song birds can be enjoyed often intermingled with our cattle and horses in the pastures.
Here we grow cattle all naturally, train horses, grow our family and love to share our way of life with others as we host horsemanship, cattle, and obstacle clinics, cowboy church and Ranch Camp, a four day relaxed opportunity for people to come with their horses to camp and learn what we do; training horses, working cattle, ride the trails and enjoy the views.
The main facility incorporates our large outdoor arena with cattle roping chute all fenced with wood cut from our property. Right next to the arena is our Obstacle Course consisting of manmade and natural looking obstacles. Themed with rustic rugged bridges of differing heights, one tall enough to ride under as well as over, a large water pond to ride in as well as teeter-totter, suspension bridge, cowboy curtain and uneven terrain to name a few, all landscaped to draw out the natural beauty of our environment.
Our acreage consists of mostly pasture and fields mixed with hardwood forests; additionally we lease more acreage from a few different neighbors for hay production as well as having the ability to ride on hundreds of acres.
