East Meets West Ranch Camp

Are you looking to build trust with your horse while enjoying a fun authentic western ranch experience? Come ride with Luke Reinbold at the beautiful Horizon Equestrian Center in Canisteo, New York, doing what he and his family do every day: working cows, riding the trails, working, and training horses.

Participating in this event will teach you the techniques and tools that give you the confidence to try new things, be a more effective communicator with your horse, plus you will be hard-pressed to have more fun anywhere else. Come experience how life on the ranch gets a horse quiet, composed, and ready to work. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Steuben County hills, ride the trails, terrain, and land features that Luke uses to start colts and get horses ready for competition as he trains professionally. You will be part of the daily activity of our cattle operation including moving cows to new pastures and monitoring the cow/calf herd as they grow, depending on the time of year you might even see a calf being born.

Ride with Luke on some amazing obstacles on our obstacle course. Learn his philosophy on how to introduce new obstacles to your horse and gain trust through them.

Every day you will learn and work on exercises and methods Luke uses as he trains horses to get them handy, responsive, and willing, so come ready to ride A LOT. Each participant will have the opportunity to work with Luke individually as well. Not to mention you get to enjoy Tiffany's amazing down-home cooking, just that is worth the trip.
